In the past I've done separate blog posts for each of my mini sessions, but since I had so many amazing families sign up and since I have a fear that if I don't get all of my sessions blogged by the time baby boy makes his appearance, they won't get blogged until I'm getting an adequate amount of sleep (i.e. who knows how long!), I'm going to combine them into 2-3 posts.
I'm so thrilled with how my mini sessions have taken off. For those that don't know, I offer minis twice a year (in the spring and in the fall), and they are shorter, cheaper sessions offered one weekend only at a date and location that I've chosen. I call the fall sessions "holiday minis" because almost everyone is looking for a great family image for their Christmas card! I had several repeat clients as well as some awesome, new referrals this year.
For "Part 1," I had a fabulous new family (whose first image completely melts my about-to-have-two-boys heart), my mini session faithful C fam (Mama C also provided me with some amazing referrals this year - KDP LOVES her!), as well as the then-5 month old C twins, whose newborn session last spring is still one of my favorites to date.
Part 2 will be on it's way soon!

Baby girl B *newborn*
As I come up on my 38th week of pregnancy, my mind is constantly filled with thoughts of tiny fingers and toes, little baby cries, and new snuggles and smooches. I wonder if every twitch in my tummy could be "the time" and don't really think of much else. So while I'm waiting and obsessing over baby boy, I've decided to blog a little out of order and share a newborn session I did last month.
Baby girl B arrived in time to share Christmas with Mama and Daddy L and her proud big sisters. Just when I thought the L family couldn't get any cuter, they add this little joy. At 10 days old, little B was as content and alert as she could be. We couldn't get her to stay asleep for long but it didn't really matter because she's so sweet-tempered. Her only objection was being completely naked in December with a poofy hat on her head, and I can't say I blame her :) Here are my favorites.
Daddy L couldn't resist stuffing his little newbie in a stocking, and she was sooo cute!
Big sisters K and B. I love this adorable family!

H family
I'm 37 weeks preggo today and absolutely determined to use this time of nesting and waiting before baby brother is born to get caught up on blogging for all of my fall and winter sessions! So get ready for some major posting, starting with the adorable H family. This supermama made time for an early morning family session just hours before boy A's 2nd birthday party and didn't seem stressed in the least. Just a typical morning playing on the train tracks :)
