R family

I met the R family before the holidays, as can probably be seen from the ah-mazing autumn leaves. Little J reminded me so much of Hayden. He was curious about me and my camera for about 5 minutes, and then he just want to RUN! And since Mommy and Daddy R didn't particularly want pictures of the back of his head, I ran with him! Which probably looked pretty funny since I was in my third trimester with Knox. But I'm glad I did because who wouldn't want to capture that cute little face? And Mama R and I got to compare pregnancies, as she was almost 20 weeks and glowing with her adorable little bump. Here are a few that I can't help but share:

The B family - maternity

I was so excited that my very first session back from my "babymoon" was a maternity one with gorgeous J and her hubby! These 2 are the proud parents-to-be of a spring baby girl and I had so much fun documenting their last season as a family of 2 - or really as a family of 3 counting cute doggy D who came with us. I learned a couple of things on this shoot. 1) I learned that sessions are sooo much easier now that I'm not preggo myself! 2) That I should check the weather more thoroughly before bringing along balloons to a field on a windy day, and 3) that my hair will never be as awesome as J's! You may not be able to tell from these photos, but it was windy and her hair looked as great at the end of the shoot as it started out at the beginning. I cannot wait to meet sweet baby M this spring! She is sure to be as adorable as her cute parents!

So I couldn't be any later blogging the rest of my awesome holiday minis! Those beautiful autumn leaves seem like so long ago. But I couldn't NOT share the rest of these great families out of sheer embarrassment for my belated blogging, so here the are. FINALLY.
