Could anyone forget this precious newborn? The cutie pie who came into the world looking just like her big brother is 4 months old! (Confession: she WAS 4 months old. This is another belated post, but I'm back on my game now.) Sweet L came into the world a little, ahem, loudly and a little less laid back than big brother S. But at 4 months, this baby has blossomed into a smiley, social little thing who still knows how to demand attention but is the pretty pride and joy of her parents and the perfect complement to her super chill brother. She is also the spitting image of her mama! The eyes. They make me swoon.











Although there are many technical imperfections with this last one of brother and sister, I'm going to include it here anyway because I know one mama who treasures it in her heart.

Although I need to apologize to Miss L for how looooong it has taken me to get this post up (sick baby + sick mommy for a month = bloggie neglection), I'm so pumped to share her images now! This girl is so smart and cool. in addition to having great taste in boys (she's dating my younger brother :o)), she has dreams of being a marine biologist and hair that both my sister and I are way jealous of. She's super laid back and was a great companion for exploring a new location. My brother is a lucky guy, and I'm so glad I got to capture her pretty face as an upcoming senior!

I love the sweet J family. Back in October (when baby S was on the way), they joined me for a holiday mini-session, and I just adored brother and sister's sweet little faces. It's always a pleasure for me to work with mild-mannered kids - probably because my own little guy is such a wild boy!

I was so honored when they invited me back to capture little S. Although we couldn't get her to sleep at all (I think she was too afraid of missing something with her big sibs!), she was a little trooper as we dressed her up, got her nakie, and even taped some angel wings on her - a very creative idea by Mama and Papa J. So sweet and snuggly, these images are almost enough to give me baby fever. Almost. :)

Remember sweet Baby L? This sweet, squishy little princess is 4 months old now! I'll just post one for now, but can you believe those eyes?! They make me want to cry. And squeeze her little cheeks. And have more babies. Half kidding on that last one ;o)

C + R = BFFs

The last in my series of these 2 pretty girls, here are some of Miss C and Miss R together. BFFs since PRESCHOOL, these two were so much fun together. They huddled under the same blanket in between pictures, color coordinated outfits, laughed about school and boyfriends, and even made each other laugh by spilling embarrassing secrets as I snapped away. They made me reminisce about my high school best friend - all the notes passed, nails painted, tears shed over break-ups, and promises to be in each other's weddings. And they also made me grateful for my own besties now. We may talk a LOT more about babies than make-up, but there's still nothing like a best girlfriend at any age!
