spring minis + a march discount!

Happy almost spring to all!

I don't know about you, but this warmer weather has me dreaming of blooming flowers, lush grass, and of course, spring pictures! I just wanted to let y'all know about a couple of fun things going on with KDP.

{mini sessions}
Since mini sessions are always in such high demand, I've decided to start offering them one Saturday per month during the spring and fall months. So this spring, I'll have them in April, May, and June. I'm currently booking spring minis for my first date, April 18th!

Location: the gorgeous Buckhead Duck Pond

Details: $180 (broken into 2 payments - half upon booking and half at your session date) for 30-40 minutes + a high resolution image CD of 10-15 images with rights to print as you please

Time slots: 10am, 11am, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm

*All clients will receive $10 off your deposit when you book your mini session in the month of March!

{full sessions}
I'm also currently booking full portrait sessions for the spring! If you're unfamiliar with the difference between my full and mini sessions, just have a quick peek at my pricing details attached. All clients will receive $25 off your deposit when you book your full portrait session in the month of March!

{weddings}
One last piece of exciting news is that KDP is diving into the world of weddings! I have a couple already booked for this spring and am looking for more in 2015 as I expand my portfolio. If you refer a bride and groom-to be and they book their wedding with KDP, I will gift a complimentary full portrait session to you as a thank you for your referral!

I hope you're all having a wonderful March, and I hope to see you soon! :)

fall minis recap + old norcross location

Last fall I did several rounds of mini sessions, but my biggest weekend was at a sweet friend's GORGEOUS home in Old Norcross. It was great fun! I was thrilled with the new location and how it photographed. Here are some of my faves from some awesome families.

Favorite locations: Downtown Duluth

There are so many fun backdrop options in Downtown Duluth! The train tracks are always a draw, and there are also several great brick walls and "nooks."

Favorite locations: Roswell Mill

The Roswell Mill is a great location that I've started using more recently. The big bridge always photographs well, and there are a couple other pretty areas. Plus kids always love looking at the river!  :)

Favorite locations: Johns Creek field

I've loved this field (across the street from the Atlanta Athletic Club) for years and years. It looks different at different times of the year, depending on the season and how recently the grass has been cut. It's especially gorgeous when the grass is super long and/or in the spring/summer when the wildflowers are out.
