Just because

Hayden and I had a little time to kill today, so we took his beloved "Cozy Coupe" (a birthday gift from his Mimi and Papa) for a spin! He just loves being outside, and I love watching him run around like a "big kid"!

Thunderdan

My bro-in-law (P) is a pretty talented guy. He was valedictorian of his high school class, he's a sophomore at Duke, and he's an aspiring actor. He and his friends his friends have written, directed, and produced several movies - some short, some full length, and they are currently in the process of shooting "THUNDERDAN 2," a sequel to a movie they made in high school. When P asked me to take some pictures for their upcoming film's posters, I wasn't sure what to expect, but these guys were totally crazy (in a good way) and dedicated to their film! They wore elaborate costumes, roamed the school for open offices, and even disclosed plans for a potentially dangerous, top secret stunt. I'm not sure if they pulled it off or not but P is still here, so I'm guessing no one was harmed. :o) Those "in the know" can anxiously await the release of Thunderdan 2 in December! The R/W Family

A few weeks ago, I got the opportunity to switch it up and do a different kind of session: a rehearsal dinner! And not just any rehearsal dinner, but one for a old friend from high school. How fun! The dinner was held at the bride's parents' GORGEOUS home. They had music, a pool, and tons of barbecue-style food. Who wouldn't have a blast? The bride was just glowing, and it was a privilege to capture her last bash before becoming MRS. W!

I *believe* he was the ring bearer for a pretty bride's recent wedding. I documented the rehearsal dinner at her parents' GORGEOUS house! The hot tub and pool were a huge hit with the kids! More pictures to come.

One year old!

My baby turned one earlier this month! I can hardly believe I've been a mommy for whole year. And lil H is so much fun! He's such a ham and has the most playful, adventurous personality. I heart him more each day. He spent his first birthday at the beach (and also started walking the day before he turned one year!) and then came home and had a Dr. Seuss themed birthday party! He's a loved little boy. Happy birthday Hayden!

Miss E

Miss E was my first senior portrait session, and I had so much fun! She brought a bunch of fabulous outfits and accessories, including her gorgeous prom dress and a pair of cowboy boots to commemorate the fact that she's Texas-bound for college next year! Being a girl is so fun when it comes to clothes :o) She also brought out her guitar for some of the pictures - so creative! Here are some favorites from her session.
