Favorite locations: McDaniel Farm Park (Duluth)

I *love* McDaniel Farm Park! There's a barn, bridge, picket fences, and that's just on one side of the park! The other side has an open field with a more rustic look, although you might have to hop a couple fences to get into the really good areas :) I've used this spot with countless families, and it has also been popular with high school seniors!

Favorite locations: Buckhead Duck Pond

Though this spot might be a drive for some, it's such a beautiful spot with lots of backdrop options in a small area. So there isn't too much walking for little ones! And if you get lucky a few ducks will walk or swim into your background :)

Favorite locations: Peachtree Corners

I don't know why it's taken me this long to think of this, but after lots of copying and pasting Facebook albums and blog links into emails for clients asking for location recommendations, I'm going to create some blog posts highlighting my favorite spots!

This first location is a private residence in Peachtree Corners/Norcross. It has a huge yard with lots of trees (especially beautiful in the fall!) and is right on the Chattahoochee River. Here are some images from past sessions I've done there:

Announcing KDP Fall Mini Sessions!

It's that time again! 

I've picked 2 awesome dates (a weekend and an additional Saturday!) for KDP fall minis, and I'm excited to share the details! 

And what is a mini session, you ask? It's a fun, quick session at a discounted rate at a gorgeous location that I've chosen. Whether you choose to have your whole family photographed or simply your baby, children, or teen (senior portraits!), fall minis are the perfect time to capture treasured and updated images of your loved ones and to grab a great shot for your Christmas card too! Here is what's happening:

When: Saturday & Sunday, October 18-19th OR Saturday, November 8th

Where: The October date will be at my friend's amazing home in Old Norcross. The November date's location is TBD. But it'll be great :)

Investment: The mini is $150 ($75 non-refundable deposit due at booking, $75 due the day of your session). This includes a 30-40 minute session and your 15 best, creatively enhanced images on a high resolution CD with rights to print. 

What happens if it rains or someone in my family gets sick? I've blocked off a couple of rain delay/emergency dates. If my make up date doesn't work for you, I'm very flexible with re-schedulingmini sessions around my existing session dates. So basically, we will find a time and make it work!

Saturday, October 18th: 10am, 11am, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm

Sunday, October 19th: 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm

 

Saturday, November 8th: 9am, 10am, 11am, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm

Baby L girl

This precious newborn session with an adorable (and already stylish!) baby girl is way too sweet not to share. Some of my favorite images from recent newborn sessions have been with siblings or parents, and here it's clear to see that her 4 year old big sis adores her! 

Can you even stand the one with the sisters smiling?! They're such sweet girls!

It's that time of year again - time to catch up on alllll the sessions I want to blog from the past 6+ months! I use my Facebook page MUCH more regularly to post sneak peeks of sessions, so please "like" that page if you want to see more frequent updates from KDP! This first session is of a sweet friend (and amazing mama!) and her family of 6. She had a PRECIOUS baby girl after 3 boys and celebrating her first birthday was full of all sorts of girly fun!
