fall mini sessions '12 (part one)

I had mini sessions last fall at one of my favorite autumn locations. I family friend was so sweet to let me utilize her gorgeous yard for a weekend of fall holiday fun! It was the second time I've used this spot for mini sessions, and my very pregnant self needed a beautiful space that didn't require tons of walking/ This spot is on the Chattahoochee, and the weather was perfect! I had so many great families join me (so many that I have to split these peeks into 2 posts), so here's part one:

KDP spring minis 2013

Happiest spring to all! Well, at least it feels like spring today - who knows about tomorrow! But SURELY by May we'll be having some consistently warmer weather, and my spring mini sessions are quickly approaching. I'm excited to share all the details!

And what is a mini session, you ask? It's a fun, quick session at a discounted rate at a gorgeous location that I've chosen. Whether you choose to have your whole family photographed or simply your baby, children, or teen, spring minis are the perfect time to capture treasured and updated images of your loved ones! Here is what's happening:

When: Saturday & Sunday, May 4-5.

Where: McDaniel Farm Park in Duluth. A relatively new location for me, I did lots of sessions there last fall and loved how each and every one turned out! There are plenty of cool backdrops, including a bridge, barn, wooden fences, and little paths. Here's a little peek of some of the sessions I did there last fall:

Investment$125 for a 30-40 minute session and your 15 best, creatively enhanced images on a high resolution CD.

Time Slots:
(They are a little different this year because I need to accommodate a nursing baby!)

Saturday, May 4: 8:30am, 9:30am (booked), 10:30am (booked), 3pm (booked), 4pm (booked), 5pm (booked), 6pm (booked)

Sunday, May 5: 3pm (booked), 4pm (booked), 5pm (booked), 6pm (booked)

Contact me at katiedavidsonphotography@gmail.com to reserve your spot - it's first come, first served! (To ensure you get a spot that works best with your schedule, it would be SO helpful if you would include TWO potential session times in your email!)

I'm looking forward to working with you next month!

fall minis (location 2) 2012

I did 2 rounds of fall mini sessions last fall, due to high demand and in order to accommodate as many holiday season clients as I could before having my sweet baby Rhett in November. Round one was the big weekend (yet to be blogged!) Then I did another less advertised day at one of my favorite new spots! It was a gorgeous fall day (even for my hugely preggo self!) with some really beautiful families! I was thrilled with how the images at my new spot turned out, and even more thrilled that I got all of the families' sessions edited and CDs in their hands before baby boy came :)

the j family

I've known the awesome J family for quite a while now! They started using me for family pictures at my VERY first holiday mini sessions in 2009 (now THAT is loyalty :)), when they were only a family of 4. Now they're a family of SIX, and I've gotten the privilege of watching the precious J kids grow and welcome 2 new sisters. I always have so much fun hanging out with them, and last fall they were celebrating their littlest sister's first birthday! Here's a peek.

newborn h boy

I met this precious boy over the summer (yes, that's how behind I am on blogging! We had his SIX month photo session last month. Just keepin' it real :)) Clearly adorable with his big eyes and pouty lips, he was also a very laid back baby and so cooperative! Here's a peek at the newborn yumminess:

the h family

Meet the precious H family! I met this adorably stylish family last fall at my favorite field and between the sunset lighting, sweet sisters, and fun pops of color (not to mention an extremely gorgeous mama H!), this session turned out to be one of my favorites of 2012!
