Little H girl - 4 & 8 months

Sweet H's mama is doing a Baby's First Year Lite package (see info on my website under the "information" tab, then click "investments" if interested!) and so far we've had 2 sessions - late summer and last month. Both clearly had VERY different weather, but both were adorably styled! H has the most FUN clothes and accessories! Here's a look:

My Rhett boy

Wow. First post in 5 months.  Thank goodness for my Facebook page to keep everyone caught up on what's going on with KDP! I am going to start slowly but surely catching up on this blog, mostly because blog links are so much easier to link up to than my FB albums when emailing with clients. I'm not going to be able to post every session I've done since last September, even though I've thoroughly enjoyed working on every one! Time will just not permit, especially being a stay at home mommy to three crazy boys! Speaking of, here's a little peek at my littlest little (who will be 3 months tomorrow!) and a few photos I've snapped of him over the past couple of months. Enjoy! C Family

Better late than never is the theme of this blog! Even though this session is from last fall/early winter, I've referred to it's "sneak peek" album on my Facebook page entirely too many times recently. It needs a blog of it's own! The C families (2 fun families sharing a session) were a blast! And with 5 small kiddos, there were laughs, jokes, and a few tears (which may or may not have been shed by a frustrated mama C - kidding!), but lots of family love! And there is no shortage of personality here! The awesome kids made sure of that :) Clients always apologize to me over and over when their children are acting wild

The A family - maternity

I met the A family recently for a sweet maternity/family session! You would NOT know it from these images, but gorgeous mama A was at the very end of her pregnancy and expecting to have her surprise baby (they didn't know the gender!) any day. I was SO glad her sweet baby waited on her arrival because these family images are beyond precious. The A boys were super cooperative, and mama A couldn't have been sweeter. I love when my sessions are not only successful but FUN! Here are the A's in their final days as a family of 4.5 :)

Announcing 2012 holiday mini sessions!

Happy (almost!) fall to you!

As most of you know, KDP is celebrating the holidays a little early this year due to my 3rd little bundle of baby boy joy arriving at the end of November! So my holiday mini sessions have been moved up and are quickly approaching. I'm excited to share all the details!

And what is a mini session, you ask? It's a fun, quick session at a discounted rate at a gorgeous location that I've chosen. Whether you choose to have your whole family photographed or simply your baby, children, or teen, holiday minis are the perfect time to capture treasured images of your loved ones and snag a great image to you use for your Christmas card! Here is what's happening:

When: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, September 21-23.

Where: A private residence in Norcross, GA in the Peachtree Corners area. This yard is huge with lots of gorgeous trees (which will hopefully be changing colors!) and is backed by the Chattahoochee River. I did my fall mini sessions here 2 years ago, as some of you may remember, and the colors are just so pretty! Here's a little sneak peek of some of my past sessions at this location:

Investment: $125 for a 30-40 minute session and your 15 best, creatively enhanced images on a high resolution CD.

Time Slots:

Friday, September 21: 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm (filled)

Saturday, September 22: 8am (filled), 9am (filled), 10am (filled), 11am (filled), 4pm (filled), 5pm (filled), 6pm (filled)

Spring minis

An announcement & a discount!

Happy end-of-the-summer to all my clients and friends!

Is anyone else as excited about fall as I am?! I don't think I've ever been so thrilled about cooler weather, changing leaves, comfy boots, and back-to-school :)

I just wanted to take a little editing break to let everyone who doesn't know yet in on the latest update with my little family. We are expecting our 3rd little BOY at the end of November! We're super excited (and a little nervous!) for this sweet addition to our family.

BUT I need to talk about what this means for YOU, my awesome clients. Fall is by far my busiest time of year, and while a November baby puts a little kink in my typical schedule, I think with a little proactive planning, I'll still be able to accommodate everyone's holiday image needs.

HOLIDAY MINI SESSIONS: I wanted to let you know that my holiday mini sessions will be in mid-ish September this year, which is about a month earlier than usual. I'm still finalizing the exact dates and location, but expect an email and announcement on my Facebook fan page by early next week. I expect these mini sessions to fill up super quickly, so please try to respond as soon as possible if you're counting on a spot for your fall pictures!

REGULAR SESSIONS: I'm booking fall sessions now through the first weekend of November! I really can't in good conscience book sessions later than that unless you're willing to be very flexible with my editing time, just in case baby boy decides to arrive earlier than his November 26th due date. That being said, I'd love to offer a discount of 10% off of your session fee for all clients who book their regular fall session during the month of August (The session may take place ANY TIME between now and November, but it just has to be booked in August. The discount applies to regular sessions only, as mini sessions are already fabulously discounted!)

For those who have asked, after baby love arrives, I'll take 6-8 weeks off for maternity leave, but will be back booking 2013 sessions around the end of January. The only exception I'll make during those weeks is for those needing newborn sessions because of their obvious time-sensitive nature.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer, and I can't wait to work with many of you this fall! :)
